About me

My studies in the living arts helped me to be able to introduce myself when I became spokesperson for the French Young Greens. As I was being solicited more and more for training by NGOs, Green networks and youth organisations, I decided to put theoretical words into practice and enrolled in training at the Ecole de l’Art Oratoire, Paris (School for Public Speaking). I have been working as an independent trainer since 2016, mainly for NGOs, SMEs and Green local councillors. I have worked as a political advisor on the Green Party’s staff of elected people, and as deputy director of the presidential campaign for the Greens’ candidate in 2017. Other positions I've held:

  • International officer then spokesperson for French Young Greens (2013-2015)
  • Board member then head of Greens’ feminism commission since 2016.
    • Currently implementing a training programme of empowerment to support women candidacies for next French elections: internal and external network, regional referents, organising training on various topics
  • Since 2019, member of the investigation unit into gender-based violence, for the French Greens
  • Since 2020, board member of the Greens’ regional executive office in the Brittany region
  • Candidate for legislative election in 2017; candidate for departmental election in 2021
I have also taken part in various civil disobedience movements, such as Ende Gelände, RadiAction, ANV COP21, etc.

My skills

Public speaking training:

  • Physical posture, vocal coaching, eye contact with the audience (including for online public speaking)
  • Preparation of public intervention (press conference, debate, conference) and interviews (radio, tv, written press)
  • Speech preparation: speech structure, strategic analysis
  • Personal and group coaching
Communication in a crisis context: how it starts, understanding the role of social media, organising information dissemination, social media, team management Communication: press release, community management Gender-based violence: identification (assault, harassment, rape), prevention, understanding the aggressor strategy, how to react

Why you should work with me

I have organised numerous training sessions on many different topics, and focused on inclusive trainings where everyone feels comfortable. My approach includes:

  • Making the frame of the event/training and the rules of game clear for all participants
  • Organising a round table at the beginning of the event/training and giving participants the freedom to share the level of information they feel comfortable with
  • Allowing participants to leave the event/training whenever they feel uncomfortable and to come back or not
  • Never leaving a question unanswered
  • Always asking for consent for practical exercises
  • Explaining my role and experience in the topic if it is training
  • Explaining the objectives of the event/training
  • Announcing the next agenda at the end of the event/training: contact sharing, next event/training, etc.
  • Collecting contact details to send the minutes/slides to, if relevant (although I prefer not to use slides to keep their attention!).
  • I also consider communication and the most relevant communication channels for the targeted communities in the organisation.
Finally, to fight against the loss of collective memory, I always try to include an historical perspective in my presentation, as the answers to questions have usually already been experienced or written about by academics, scholars or earlier activists.
