About me
I am Bastian. I have been working as a freelancer in green and impactful event management, intercultural training, and consulting with organisations on openness, partnership and participatory work for around 10 years. But I am also the oldest of four brothers, a Tour de France ‘evangelist’, a passionate traveller and connector, an engaged alumni for the common good and a critical political thinker.
From as far back as I can remember, I have been a value-based driver of processes and organisations. My purpose is driven by peace, understanding and professionalising humankind’s potential for tomorrow.
I want to support value-orientated organisations in their work as well as I can by listening, focusing on their needs, challenging them and being a positive companion through my life and work experience as a freelancer working with non-profit profit organisations.

Why you should work with me
For me, an impactful and inclusive event has different steps and levels. It starts with the first contact between the organiser and trainer. It is important to clear up objectives, processes, to define the desired outcome and outreach, to understand the target group, the cultural and organisational aspects – in brief: good planning is key for an event.
Next comes the realisation phase of bringing people together, making them feel like real owners of the event rather than guests, creating the right atmosphere, and making learning easy and adaptable to the target group. It is important to organise different settings for small and big groups, to mix people and create a space for all the diverse and different aspects and expectations.
For me, an inclusive event puts the individual and the group in clear focus. And a good event is followed by a good evaluation, debriefing and feedback, from all sides. It is important to appreciate the lessons learnt to refine the next event and attract participants. As a moderator and facilitator, I navigate through all these steps and include everyone. I am responsible for the process, not (only) for the result.
