About me

I am a trainer, facilitator, campaigner and consultant specializing in education for sustainable development, international development cooperation, climate change and the circular economy. I have experience in particular in working with local authorities, teachers and youth groups. I am a member of Pool of Trainers of COE North-South Center and member of team of experts of UNEP/GRID Climate Leadership Programme. I am also organizer and lead trainer during EGAT (European Green Activist Training) project. In the past I have worked for United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), FYEG, polish National Center for Climate Change (KOZK), Institute of Educational Research (IBE) and University Muhammadiyah in Malang, Indonesia. Currently, as freelance trainer, campaigner and facilitator I work with multiple NGOs and institutions in Poland and Europe. Some of my clients include: the European Parliament's regional office in Poland, OECD, North-South Centre of the Council of Europe, European Commission, Climate-KIC, the European Youth Forum, European Youth Parliament, Caritas Poland and the Centre for Development of Educational Competencies.

My skills

Facilitation, moderation and training skills, as well as experience in teaching and training, campaigning, project management and green politics. In 2018 I have completed trainings for professional trainers and facilitators (ITFF training course) and Education System Support Trainer. Since 2018 I am also cooperating as freelancer with ORKE - state accredited teachers' training center delivering trainings on new technologies in education (online and offline). Currently I am in a process of obtaining ICF ACC Coaching accreditiation as well as Training Supervision Accreditation by Polish Association of NGO Trainers (STOP) and I hope to have both accreditations by mid-2023.

Why you should work with me

In my training, I use the theory of group dynamics as well as Kolb's cycle theory, according to which the trainer has to direct and steer the group in right direction at the beginning but, as time goes by and the group develops, the trainer can give the group more and more responsibility to self-organise. Eventually, he/she takes on the role of facilitator, making sure the group moves in the right direction while allowing participants to research, find and share information with each other. In addition, I tend to mix personal reflection, theory and experiential learning – considering all three aspects vital to the learning process.
