About me

I am a visual interpreter and visual translator with more than 10 years’ experience in organising events, workshops and training programmes in environmental NGOs and 3 years’ experience as a visual interpreter and translator.

As a visual interpreter, I translate the flow and key messages from a live conference into visual language (on digital or on paper).

As a visual translator, I translate your ideas and concepts into visual metaphors by using videos and infographics.

I am eager to work more with facilitators and coaches as a visual support to facilitation, making their processes more visual and therefore more impactful.

If you want to know how that works then check my info and website: www.alelistens.com

My skills

Why you should work with me

As a visual facilitator, I respond to three main needs that facilitators use when they implement interventions with participants:

• Make participants see what they say by using graphic recording as a tool to revisit the content and provoke discussions.

• Make participants more present by using visuals as anchorage and making the process more visual, helping them to have a clearer idea of the big picture.

• Make facilitation processes more impactful by designing tailored visuals for their intervention so that participants can understand better and faster the information that is developing in front of their eyes.

My references

“Alejandro’s commitment and availability from the start were very reassuring to give us the reassurance we were looking for as this was the first time we were adopting this sort of service. The end result was amazing and allowed all participants and the organising team to disseminate the event through a different lens, which was novel as we had a different method to show to different audiences what the event was about. Looking forward to the next opportunity to work with him!” Joao Costa, External Consultant|Program Associate for GDN in Belgium

“Alejandro adds incredible depth and dimensions to your events and delivers a high-quality takeaway. Participants will love a conference where their thoughts are brought to life in colourful shapes. A must try!” Andrea Lapegna, Communication and Campaign Coordinator, Lifelong Learning Platform

“We are very happy with the results of the visual interpretation done by Alejandro for the CHESS SETUP final conference. It provided new material for divulgation to a large audience and not only to the scientific and most technical community. For us, this has been an added value and a genuine material to sum up with success the event and also for post-dissemination activities. We encourage other projects to use this powerful tool to improve their communication.” Communication manager for CHESS SETUP project
